A little bit about me! I started my lifting journey after I stopped competitively swimming. I swam for 14 years for about 25-30 hours a week. Honestly? I loved every minute of it because of what being an athlete taught me. Determination. Perseverance. Willpower. How to blow bubbles under water properly (never knew there was a wrong way to do that). But most importantly, how to beat my mind. And that skill set is something I strive to make better everyday.
Now I lift 6 days out of 7, and do yoga one day (because stretching is LITERALLY the worst, well second after cardio). But I have slowly introduced activities that I need (HIIT, yoga, even meditation) and sometimes try out new things to switch things up (rock climbing, Zumba, etc.) I am a NASM certified personal trainer, have taught multiple Group X classes, and now a blogger who hopes to simply share her love of lifting and this lifestyle with the world.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!!
